Overview

Application Insights is the Azure Analytics platform that TDM nominally uses for collecting user activity metrics. Per the screenshot below from our Development Azure account dashboard, the service needs to migrated before February 2024, if we are to continue using it.

Action Items

  • Determine if AI is useful to the TDM project. If so,
  • Migrate AI as instructed in the screenshot.

So far, I have been able to hook up the DEV environment, but I'm blocked on setting up the UAT and Production environments, due to permission issues with the city's Azure account.

Also need to figure out how to use different APPLICATIONINSIGHTS_CONNECTION_STRING environment variables in UAT and Prod, vs DEV.
