We need an intro to what a hack day is #56

care to elaborate for those not up on what was discussed on tech grumps? |
Sure, I just wanted to file it so I didn't forget about it. Basically, it'd be helpful if we could have a paragraph at the top to contextualize what exactly it is we are discussing in the manifesto when we talk about hack days. There's apparently some confusion amongst readers thinking we are talking only about commercial hack days. Such a paragraph could just describe roughly what goes on at a hack day, so people can be oriented to what it is we are about to tell them how to run. Apparently, the Manifesto is being handed to people who sort of understand they ought to run a hack day, but don't really understand what a hack day is. And apparently, we're scaring them. |
I still think we should add this |
