Color of amenity=driving_school marker is same as shop #4064
Comments
Well many I know are physically located in shops with a storefront. Anyway if you want to change the colour, I find the office-blue more suitable. It is a commercial service closer to an insurance broker than to the general education system. |
A steering wheel might be a good icon choice? |
Many places of worship, restaurants, cafes, credit unions and offices are located in retail store-fronts, in America at least. But a driving school is not a retail business: it does not directly sell goods or retail services. I agree that it is somewhat similar to an office, especially since some driving schools mainly offer on-road lessons, though in others they also have classrooms like other types of trade or certification schools (e.g. music school, art school, language school, etc). So either amenity-brown or office color would be an improvement. |
I'm in favor of office blue. Driving schools, like tutoring offices and other similar institutions are not part of the formal educational system. |
Also in favour of office colour. |

See PR #3211 - it was mentioned that a different icon or color might be better.
