The public transport platform is drawn over the streets, but the street labels are drawn over the platform with a border in the color of the street.
Nothing dramatic, but the presentation could be improved when labels that collide with things drawn over "their object" are left out

Surely rendering the platform over the labels would be worse, what do you suggest?
Yes, completely omitting labels for roads under platforms seems to not be better.
I hope this is "easy" to implement:
Check if a label for an object A, collides with another object B, that is drawn over the object A
Unfortunately it is not easy. It would be feasible to draw platforms over labels, but it would lead to partially covered labels (only part under platform would be invisible).
