Reviewed 38 accounts. One weird one that I'll have to check later. |
So I bought a new power cord since mine is fraying, but it looks like it is the power supply that is bad. :-( 6% left |
Going to try to kick this off in a Digital Ocean droplet. Flight boards in 20 min. |
So that means getting into this droplet (it's been created, waiting for Gmail), then installing ... ? Git? Then clone the repo and run payday. |
In case you don't know, use screen to preserve your session just in case you get disconnected! |
Will also need to heroku init(?) to get that config. @clone1018 I was going to do it in the web console. Does that persist? |
It should, yes. |
Cool, thanks. :) |
Maybe it was bad power from SJC. Here in Houston, my laptop is charging admirably. However, the Internet is dog slow and/or port 22 is blocked. :-/ It doesn't look like payday is going to happen before I get home. :( |
@whit537 Do you have your public SSH key somewhere that I can grab it? I have my little place in the cloud, bruceadams.us, listening for SSH on port 443 (usually the HTTPS port and likely to be reachable). I can give you a login there and you can then reach out to anywhere. |
@bruceadams take your pick: https://github.com/whit537.keys I don't know which he's using, but it may likely be one of them. :) |
@sigmavirus24 Ah! Of course. I completely forgot that github publishes people's public SSH keys. Thanks! @whit537 You should be able to:
and then ssh off to wherever you really want to go. (I'm guessing @whit537 is offline, but it's worth a try.) |
Thanks @bruceadams! I'm back home now. Gonna run payday and then regroup ... |
Backup verified. |
Script running. New charger is working, so it must have been bad juice at SJC. |
Script ran for {age} (0:45:18.909495). |
Was this one ran on DigitalOcean? |
@bruceadams I tested the login on your server and it works. Thanks for setting that up! I'll keep it in mind in the future. :) |
@clone1018 Sadly, no. But I'd like to implement #9 using DO. |

Wow. I'm travelling today. Kicking this off from the train station. O.o
