Context
In Relay/Facebook's implementation of stream,
initial_countis a required argument. It was discussed in the 2021-01-07 WG meeting if this requirement should be relaxedDecision
If
@streamis used without aninitialCountargument, it will default to zero.Consequences
The WG agreed this is the least surprising behavior.
