different/multiple types of modify events

doing a command like "echo "test" > ./sdfsdf.txt" triggers multiple(2) on_modified events (file existed before with other content)
my intuition is that it may jsut be that one is a content and the other a metadata flag update
the event that is passed doesnt give optinos to differentiate them though :/
