Describe the current behavior
When using the Brave web browser, the cursor appears in multiple places simultaneously, as described in Issue #4457. This behavior occurs specifically in Brave and impacts usability.
Describe the expected behavior
The cursor should only appear at the location where it was clicked. It should not display multiple cursors. When typing, input should only affect the last selected cell, not any previously selected cells.
What web browser you are using
Brave
Additional context
Below are the reproducible steps to demonstrate the bug, including details not covered in Issue #4457
Open Google Colab using the Brave browser.
Interact with multiple cells by clicking on them in sequence.
Observe that multiple cursors appear in different cells.
Attempt to type in one of the cells. Input affects a different, previously selected cell instead of the intended one.
A screen recording demonstrating the issue is available here.
This issue does not occur in other browsers like Chrome or Firefox.
