This codelab walks you through implementing dynamic rendering with Rendertron. It shows you how to extend an express.js application with the Rendertron middleware.
Web applications with lots of pages (or views) and frequently-changing content it can help with SEO to pre-render the web app for crawlers. This is called dynamic rendering. One possible implementation of this is Rendertron.
- A recent version of Chrome or other modern web browser
- The sample code
- A text editor (This is optional. You can use glitch as well)
- Basic understanding of HTML and JavaScript syntax and features.
- Basic knowledge of node.js and express.js
