We have some tooling which packages golang/dep from the github release which is now failing due to a shasum error. In our process we save the shasum to do validation and on February 12th we saved dep-darwin-amd64.sha256 in our repo which at the time was: f170008e2bf8b196779c361a4eaece1b03450d23bbf32d1a0beaa9b00b6a5ab4
Looking at the repo the dep-darwin-amd64.sha256 has definitely changed to: 1544afdd4d543574ef8eabed343d683f7211202a65380f8b32035d07ce0c45ef
We were wondering if someone changed the darwin release without cutting a new version? It would be great if there was an announcement for changes like this?

@mattayes Honestly I think a new release was warranted in this case. If that's overkill and outside of the release policies that you all follow I totally understand
