  • Reproducible in: 3.6.beta5, 4.2.2.stable, 4.3.beta1, 4.3.beta 5833f59

System information

Godot v4.3.beta (5833f59) - Fedora Linux 39 (KDE Plasma) - X11 - Vulkan (Forward+) - dedicated NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 (nvidia; 550.78) - 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13900K (32 Threads)

Issue description

The purple 2D editor canvas lines don't update after changing Window Width/Height in the Project Settings until you click the 2D editor viewport.

Camera2D editor lines suffer a similar issue, but it's worse because they don't update until you reload the saved scene.

Steps to reproduce

  • Create a 2D scene with any node.
  • In the project settings, change Display > Window > Size > Viewport Width while keeping the 2D editor viewport visible behind the dialog.
  • Notice how the purple guidelines don't move until you click the 2D editor viewport (regardless of whether Project Settings are open or not).
