2D Lights still has issues on android #1695
Comments
what's your hardware? I noticed you have mali in there |
I'm testing on galaxy note 4 and galaxy s3. |
I have same problem on galaxy note 2(SHV-E250S). |
I tried on: Without problems, I think this is a problem of the Mali T400 chipset (then you wonder why mobile shader programmers earn so much..), but I don't have access to this device, which is kind of troublesome. I think a friend of mine has one of those so I will have to ask.. |
teambluebee: Is it by chance a Galaxy S3 Mini? Because that one has Mali 400 too.. |
reduz I have galaxy s3, s5, note 4. These are all the international versions. Is there anything that I can do to help you guys debug this? |
Is this issue still valid in the current master branch/nightly builds? |
Ping :) |
No answer, and there's no obvious fix for it either if it's related to a bad GPU, so I guess there's not much that can be done. If you can still reproduce the issue and think that it could be fixed somehow in Godot, don't hesitate to ask me to reopen this issue. |
Here's the adb logcat from my latest attempt to run the 2d lights demo on mobile.
