The current documentation asserts that all control nodes can use custom defined anchors and margin. This is not true for Godot 4.3, where position is determined by Layout > Anchors Preset and Layout > Transform > Position

Thanks for reporting! Closing, since this is already tracked by #5121, and #10216 has been merged which partly addresses this. There are still improvements to make, see #5121 (comment) for specifics
