Bluetooth Xbox One controller throws error

Hi,

Posting this here from #342 as asked by kivutar

Running Ubuntu 19.04 with Budgie - running ludo from the cli throws the following error:

I am trying to use an Xbox One controller via bluetooth that works successfully with RetroArch.
