domain namespaces deprecation

domain namespaces field is deprecated, but if I try to import a domain using external name servers without setting the namespaces field and then apply, I get this error:

Am I doing something wrong? The domain does have nameservers configured before importing, but I expected to be able to just use the actual gandi_namespaces resource.
