Single storage pool HA 2 datacenters

Hey there
I'm trying to set up an active-active configuration between 2 data centers which need to read from and write into the same storage pool in a way that tolerates 1dc failure. I couldn't get my setup to work since whenever a data center goes down the Gluster cluster goes below write quorum. Could anyone give me an explanation or a link for such setups? Or tell me whether this setup is possible or not?
