We had for example: Hogwarts and Potterverse, Buffyverse and Sunnyverse, etc. Rather than just merging them, it'd be nice if we could keep them as described but link to the "correct" one.

Related to settings (#34).

The canonical tags should show more prominently than the non-canonical ones (generic more prominently than specific).

For example:

  • Thorn's court appears in this thread (specific)
  • Torture (general)
  • Drowning (pretty general?)

I would prefer most that "torture" then "drowning" then "thorn's…" appear in that order, but would at least want "thorn's…" to appear last, as it requires contextual knowledge.

People feel something would be lost if the cuter specific warnings were lost (e.g. "Jean appears in this thread", "look away look away") and it also seems like the system would be performing suboptimally if these warnings overrode the (more useful?) context-unspecific warnings so a good solution would be to have canonical tags appear first (or canonical versions of such).
