Via Adelene: In addition to whole-thread content warnings, some authors put content warnings on specific parts of their threads - as of right now that's just done with a note in a post at the beginning of the warned-about section that eventually links to a post at the end. This has the obvious downside that there's no good way of actually skipping that content while it's happening, since there's no way to know when it's ended without checking in. I'd like to see this formalized to solve this problem - have an actual feature to mark a thread has having CW content being written, change the CW icon on such threads to indicate that that's happening without having to actually click on them, and automate the skip-over link part. (Also mark where the CW content ends, I've had trouble with that sometimes.)
This is being done manually already by some authors for explicit sections of a post.
