Two separate pieces:

  • Icons are currently ordered by name, not by anything customizable
  • Drag and drop UI

The first part is perhaps related to icon scales (issue #16).

the drag-drop ordering should show lots of icons in one go (so it should be a multi-column multi-row display, not just a single column like gallery#edit)

People would like this per-character if possible I think… See context here – sounds like a rather heavy feature with low gain? (Reordering galleries without needing to resort to keyword prefixes, though, sounds like a good feature.)
