ADS building is actually in supported in conan, but the recipe is pretty old (3.9.something).
I need to update it, would it be worth adding the recipe here, or do you prefer to have it in a separate repository? both approach are equally used in other projects.

I have no opinion about this. What would you recommend? If it is in ADS repository and will stop working in the future because of bugs or changes, people might open tickets that I can't fix.
