I will work on rebasing main, but hold off from releasing because a Git Credential Manager (Core) version is in the process of being released, and I want to include it.

On further consideration, GCM Core needs a little bit more work, so we won't wait for it.

Bah, I forgot to address #2874. I have an almost-finished work-in-progress lying around on my computer.

I kicked off https://dev.azure.com/Git-for-Windows/git/_build/results?buildId=65263 and https://dev.azure.com/Git-for-Windows/git/_build/results?buildId=65264 which will have to finish before I can start a new Git Artifacts run (because the latter depends on artifacts from the two former builds, which in turn need to re-run because of the change I made to fix #2874).

I've decided to re-run the Git Artifacts build a third time, to get in git-for-windows/build-extra@c57ebf8. Now it's time to release: https://dev.azure.com/git-for-windows/git/_releaseProgress?_a=release-pipeline-progress&releaseId=73

Well, this release certainly was a bit more involved than the previous two. But we got it done, eh?
