Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

It would be nice to have long-term statistics recorded for the sensor reading.

Describe the solution you'd like

By setting the attribute state_class to the value measurement it would tell Home Assistant to generate and store long-term statistics.

Describe alternatives you've considered

Not sure there are any.

Thanks

This is a great project and is really helpful for me to be able to easily monitor my Father-in-law's levels. He has recently been diagnosed with diabetes and we are all learning how he needs to manage his diet and insulin and this is a great tool to faciliatate that.
