I've just noticed that my own library sync cron job has been getting a large number of these errors during July:-

07-31 21:39:28 Null response in mediaItems.batchGet dict_keys(['AIfuE
...

This is the same as shown in #98. Nothing new has ended up in my bad_ids file.

This needs to be investigated.

Its also seen intermittently in Travis builds and causes them to fail.

Since 2019-08-20 (7 days) I have no longer been getting Null response in batchGet. However instead I'm getting a lot of temporary failures which are recovering on retries. Again no Travis builds have seen this.
