Why am I getting this error?

What seems to be the issue? I am using MAC.

I don't have a Virtual Machine installed so I can't verify the origin of the error. Currently the project is not optimized for MacOs.
It seems like the error is with pyaudio/recording libraries
Trying to google your error I found this thread: spatialaudio/python-sounddevice#299 where one guy fixed it doing this:

brew uninstall portaudio
brew install portaudio --HEAD

That is everything I can come up with

I am getting this error as well, but that fix doesn't seem to work anymore.
