[macos] cmd+k doesn't reset the prompt position

Not sure why when pressing cmd+k on macos, it clears the output but doesn't reset the prompt position (or scroll position) to the top. Also the prompt itself disappear and only shows up if I actually send something via enter.

When I press "enter" to enter something, the prompt shows up but in incorrect scroll position:

Found the culprit to be the following section in my zshrc but not sure why it works fine for all other terminals (iTerm2, kitty, alacrity) but not here
