Getting error.OpenGLOutdated during launch

Hello! This is my first time trying to run ghostty and I'm getting an OpenGL version error, which I found surprising.

I just noticed the note in the README and found a discussion in Discord about 22.04 LTS having too old a version of GTK (4.6).

Question now is, how can I get the latest libgtk-4-dev while still on 22.04 LTS.... I don't think Pop_OS will be updated until next year..

Hi! I am on the same boat as you. What i found out is that on wayland (still on pop 22.04, specifically, on the new COSMIC de) OR with hybrid graphics mode (on x11), ghostty run as expected. Did you find a solution using the nvidia card, here on x11?

Not yet, unfortunately. I haven't tried with hybrid graphics mode on....I'll try that out, thank you!

There isnt a solution ghostty can provide its a bug in GTK so nothing ghostty can really do in this case
