Why Nvidia GPU frame rate is slow ?

I'm running few examples of wgpu and surprised to see Nvidia's frame rate is slow compared to Intel's integrated graphics.

From Intel integrated graphics

My guess is that the NVIDIA device has VSync enabled at ~144Hz.

I haven't found good article on turning of Vsync in an Ubuntu system, to check. Do you have any idea on how to disable it.
