Provide a clear and concise overview of the new feature requested.
@zichongchen developed a new Global Rice Paddy Inventory (GRPI) of methane emissions at using Landsat satellite inundation data.
The Global Rice Paddy Inventory (GRPI) provides methane emission estimates at 0.1× 0.1 degree (~10 km ×10 km) spatial resolution and monthly resolution as described in Chen et al. (submitted). The global rice emissions from this inventory total 39.3±4.7 Tg a-1 40 for 2022 which is higher than previous inventories that use outdated rice maps and IPCC-recommended emission factors that are now considered too low.
