Since the author of winreg is no longer interested in maintaining this crate, I forked this crate and directly named it winreg2. Welcome to use and contribute code.

Just use https://crates.io/crates/windows-registry by Microsoft dude. It's their stuff and they should be maintaining it. And if it lacks serialization then probably make it a separate crate on top of MS one.

I really don't understand your stubbornness. Do not update the code yourself, and do not allow other maintainers to join. If I had time to post here, the simple maintenance work would have been completed long ago.
