improvement(cli): use terminal-kit for better terminal compatibility

This addresses an issue where fancy logger output could not be handled
by e.g. asciinema, and possibly also other terminals.

This was prompted by issues found when trying to record Garden terminal
sessions with asciinema. That previously came out completely wrong,
but terminal-kit seems to do the much job better.

terminal-kit unfortunately doesn't support Windows, so I had to
special-case that out for now.
