#9888 gives some very nice ways to get data out of other systems. Is there a way to return '#tags' per datafile that Galaxy consumes and adds to the newly created datasets?
Currently I sync datasets to the Galaxy Data Library using the API (as admin). Using the API I, as an admin, can directly (hash) tag the datasets.
It would be great if the 'remote files' approach also supports this (and possibly more of course :), like 'symlinking' files instead of copying them)
