#347 adds some excellent functionality I'd like to use in the github action, but the published action (v1) doesn't include it yet.

Hey! yea. New stuff. It happened after. I will release the version soon and you will be able to reach it from the action after. You can always put the configuration in any form following https://www.npmjs.com/package/cosmiconfig guidelines in your project, and the inputs will be taken from there.
