DMRGateway Install

I'm sure that I am missing something.

I have MMDVMHost running just fine on Debian 12, Trying to install DMRGateway, I do make, Make install

was expecting this to run as service?
Am i missing the concept of how these work together or totally missing something in setup and install.
Some of the examples on this repository are missing links especially to the .ini files
