The people who use letters in XLX reflector names are stupid. It was always the pattern that reflectors were of the form "XXXNNN X" where X is a letter and N is a number. Some people have chosen to break that pattern. Talk to the people who created those reflectors.

I agree with this.
However, I thought Daniel (@f1rmb) addressed this with PR #116 ? Cloning and compiling the latest DMRGateway, I can validate connecting to non-numeric reflectors does indeed work:
No way to connect to a XLX reflector with letters:
dmrgateway.service: Main process exited, code=killed, status=11/SEGV
dmrgateway.service: Failed with result 'signal'.
