In my menu system (xfce on buster/sid) the deb package has placed linHPSDR under "Other".
I would prefer under "Amateur Radio"

The current version has only been tested on Ubuntu 17.10 and 18.04 which does not have any menu system by default. I am open to others helping with different distributions to get an install package working with it.
