Feature request: Linear regression

Support for simple linear regression would be nice :)

Thanks for the feature request! This is in the pipeline after sample statistics and will be part of an effort to build multivariate statistics (covariance, simple linear regression, etc).

I would accept a pull request, I'm assuming you're using least squares minimization?

Yes, least squares - very basic but still. I also calculate the R^2 value.
