[Solved]Can't find deploy or push option with Scratch Orgs made from latest CLI, Can't see Org Browser either.

Summary

In some of the scratch orgs, I neither see push option, nor do I see deploy option when right clicking on components.

Steps To Reproduce:

1. Create a scratch org with latest CLI
2. Authorize it
3. Unable to deploy components or push them

Expected result

I want to be able to right click and individually push elements to scratch org

Salesforce Extension Version in VS Code:

SFDX CLI Version: sfdx-cli/7.152.0 linux-x64 node-v16.15.0

OS and version: Debian GNU/Linux 11 (bullseye) x86_64

Turns out I can't deploy to authorized orgs made with the previous version CLI anymore

I don't see the cloud Org Browser icon either.

I checked on Windows, Org Browser and deploy and retrieve are working fine. Please help me make it work on Linux.

In my home directory, there were .sfdx/ project.json project-lock.json and some other sfdx files, upon deleting which, my issue fixed itself. I was almost going to uninstall debian over this. 🙏🏻 hope it helps anyone else with the same issue
