bug: key was broken for <M-t>

Describe the bug

The keys like <M-t>' do not work in the first time, while others (say, set to ft`) are fine.
After loading the plugin, this key works as expected.

Steps To Reproduce

1. use the repro.lua below
2. run with nvim -u repro.lua

Expected Behavior

Works as other keys: in this case, toggle the neotree.
