FlyByWire A380X randomly giving inputs and ignoring Sidestick Inputs #9235
Comments
I have the same Problem |
I can confirm this is happening on my end as well. |
Same on my end idk what is going on i had to end the flight |
I have the same Problem |
Can confirm with TCA Quadrant "but" Winwing Ursa airliner stick. |
Same problem for me (Winwing Ursa Minor). After Take Off it just pitched up to 30-40° and stalled. It didn’t react to any inputs. |

same for me, elevator just gets stuck on the full up position and it is visible from the outside view |
same to me, the aircraft suddenly pitch up to more than 40 degrees and ignore my side stick input until stall (even th A/P is on) |
For me, it seems like the FBW hasn't been properly tuned yet, the control gains seem to be based on the A320. It feels sluggish and it overcorrects a lot. |
Happening to me too. Thrustmaster TCA Joystick. All updated drivers too. |
Happening to me w/ HOTAS warthog - agree it seems fbw not tuned properly as pitch is also very sensitive, compared to the toliss heavies (a340/a330) which are rock stable and require fairly large control inputs. |
It's particularly noticeable on approach for me, the aircraft tend to overcorrect and both pitch and roll stability aren't quite there yet. It tend to result in pitch and roll oscillations which is a bit more challenging to fly |
Same with VKB Gladiator NXT. Even with reduced sensitivity curves, the plane is extremely sensitive especially in pitch, and even small, deliberate inputs feel like they're a hair's breadth away from developing into a pilot induced oscillation. |
Same here with the T.flight hotas x. Makes the plane basically unflyable on final approach. The smallest, gentlest aileron input causes it to veer off in the opposite direction for the rest of the approach. |

Describe the bug
Issue appears with the Thrustmaster TCA Airbus Pack.
Aircraft seems to be ignoring inputs from my sidestick as seen in the video below, giving itself too agressive inputs (i assume by the simulated flybywire system, sometimes 100% deflection in the opposite direction) making it rather hard (almost impossible) to land the plane because it cannot be predicted where the aircraft is going.
The video in the link below tries to show what appears to be the issue. MSFS AP Graphs show the Aileron deflection, PFD shows angle of flight and the sidestick animation tries to represent my given inputs.
Hardware tested with other aircraft. All working fine. Just the A380X seems to be having this issue with the TCA (and probably other hardware aswell as friends reported on discord)
Expected behavior
Just not do it
Steps to reproduce
I can load the aircraft at any given time, place and weather, behaviour is always similar. Mostly happens close to the ground on final approach
