Description

Seeing as random CTD's are with us in MSFS2020 for the foreseeable future (sadly) is it possible to build in a save feature eg into the flypad or preferably autosave every x minutes which saves the current A32NX config? The ASOBO load flight basically plonks a preconfigured plane at altitude where you need to quickly stablise the aircraft, turn on AP, Autothrottle, lights, re-setup much of the MCDU including arrival, fixes, weights, radnav, landing perfs, re-get the ATIS, METAR etc etc.

As we all know it takes a good 20 mins or so to setup the aircraft prior to flight so reducing the need to re-do this after a CTD would be amazing

Thanks

Having spent a couple of hours with all the details of going through pre-flight, getting into the air, etc it is SO bonkers to experience a crash - your heart just sinks and emotions are all over the place. That could all be avoided with autosave. :)

But not just for CTDs - also for the purpose of being able to practice approaches it would be very nice to save the state so one could fly it several times.

Thanks for moving this/consolidating it.
I imagine saving all the variables needed for a total state restore is massive. However - simply being able to manually export/re-import a flight plan from within the MCDU (whilst on the ground without the engines running) could be a simpler task <?>. I think PMDG use a "Save Company Route" function.
