i recently installed rnote becuase it seems to be a perfect match to my lenovo thinkvisin m14t gen2 touchscreen.
unfortunately, i cannot draw on the screen. i can only move the canvas with my finger or the passive pen. maybe i am doing something wrong? drawing with my regular mouse does work. i have been searching in the settings for a hint, but did not find one yet.
i am running fedora 41 with gnome desktop.
Please activate `draw with touch input` in the settings.
This is disabled by default (the default config expected is to have a touchscreen and a pen as a separate input device).
I can see that the screen you linked is sold with a passive pen (but with an active one that you have to buy separately). I guess the passive stylus acts like your finger on the screen (so no palm rejection, no pressure etc...) and you probably need to get the active one to make this work (write with the stylus on the screen with palm rejection, and zoom with touch).
