I can't share the website in my community because of the domain name #25

Since the problem is global, it would be wise to keep the language respectful and inclusive.
My apologies if I made you feel uncortable. Regards,

Much agreed. The expletives are an unnecessary barrier to sharing, will get blocked by crude internet filters, and so on.

I have registered stayhomeplease.com. For now, this redirects to https://staythefuckhome.com/sfw, but that's really a half-measure.

@flore2003 could we go ahead with a proper SFW English version? I propose to point stayhomeplease.com to STFH server and for the server to serve a proper SFW version. Thus the domain won't be a hindrance anymore.

How about using a proxy which simply fetches the corresponding staythefuckhome.com version and replaces Fuck with F—?

Advantage:

  • we do not need to maintain every language twice

Simple prototype:

I'm in favor of having some content that I can share and that people will read, not reject.

Replacing Fuck with F- won't be enough to be able to spread the message to people who still deny. They may feel offended by the text and won't read it.

I second @saimonn's opinion
