In the image below on chrome:
Type Topa and allow selections like Topamax to be the only suggestion - tab then allows it to fill the box.
Enter submits the form.
Bug - the type ahead suggestion remains thru the above - see screen shot.

Known issue per @sadlerw with library - tracked here:
angular-ui/bootstrap#3545
