(This is not a hard requirement for upstream Flatpak releases, but tracking it with the same milestone for easier access)

The screencasting interface of the XDG Desktop portal is currently lacking features that would allow OBS Studio to operate well:

General improvements to the GTK implementation of portals (screencast: dialog improvements flatpak/xdg-desktop-portal-gtk#268, Dialog hangs when multiple portal requests are active flatpak/xdg-desktop-portal-gtk#334)
Session restore
Stream renegotiation (?)
