The maintainer insists that the builds from flathub are not officially supported by Telegram and they have zero interest in fixing issues with builds produced there.
That is quite distorting my words. I said that it is using an unofficial API key from a third party person (as flathub doesn't let to have secrets and no way preston will reveal his API key) and there's no interest in supporting Linux arm builds (as not I nor preston use tdesktop on such hardware and can't develop nor test fixes for issues on such hardware).
The https://flathub.org/apps/org.telegram.desktop application currently has the verified badge.
