What's the Problem?

I'm sorry if there's already a way to zip files, but I can't seem to find it in the app context menu. If there isn't, it's the only thing I need to permanently switch to files because in every other way is better than the default file explorer.

Solution/Idea

Add the feature to zip pulling it from windows and adding it to files in the context menu.

Alternatives

If directly pulling the feature from windows is not possible maybe you could add an open source third party program like you are doing with quicklook.

Currently it's not obvious: you have to create a new (empty) zip file from the "new" menu and then add files/folders to it (by copy/paste or drag&drop). Tracked in #45.
