Web3-Arcade

This project is based on an idea of an arcade machine. Integrated two all-time favorite arcade games, one is a 2048 game (add tiles to score more points and get to the 2048th tile) and another is a Tetris arcade game which is to prevent the blocks from stacking up to the top of the screen for as long as possible. Solving the puzzle to earn points. When either of the game is finished or over an NFT is minted from the screenshot of the game's last state. By consumption of the NFTs, the player can start a dueling match with anyone in the world. You can duel with other players for a staking amount which would get doubled if your NFT has higher scores than your opponent's NFT.

Week 1,2,3 (12-05-2022 to 02-06-2022)

Accomplishments:

• Working on the structure of the solidity code of the algorithm, where and how many arrays, and optimization of the gas fees before starting the work on building the smart contract.
• To be selected: Domains from the available ones, web3arcade.xyz is taken other options available as web3inarcade.com or arcadeweb3.com.
• Started working on the solidity code for the custom matchmaking algorithm finding ways to optimize the gas as well.
• Discussion on which other games can be integrated into the arcade platform. I will start to add more games as soon as the smart contract work finishes.

Month 2 and Month 3 Update (21 August 2022):

Accomplishments:

• Completed the solidity smart contract code implementation for the Web3Arcade matchmaking algorithm.
• Did run some tests to compare the average gas fees and evaluate the differences in gas consumption in various scenarios. You can visit the google sheets link to check the details for the same - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12PCOr9jAJ8cI6vVXe5slMR8s4xxRlwVf
• Optimized smart contract to run on minimum gas fees, removed for loops and various gas-heavy functions.
