Heartcheck::Paypal

##A plugin to check Paypal Api connectivity with heartcheck and paypal-sdk-rest.

It checks the first stage(create payment) of payment's Paypal Api.

Build Status

Installation

Add this line to your application's Gemfile:

gem 'heartcheck-paypal'

And then execute:

$ bundle

Or install it yourself as:

$ gem install heartcheck-paypal

Usage

With this basic setup, the gem will use your app default paypal credentials:

Heartcheck.setup do |monitor|
  monitor.add :paypal do |config|
    config.add_service(name: :paypal)
  end
end

Or you can add desired paypal account to monitoring if you want to use another account.

Heartcheck.setup do |monitor|
  monitor.add :paypal do |config|
    config.add_service(
      {
        client_id: 'your_client_hash_at_paypal',
        client_secret: 'your_secret_hash_at_paypal',
        mode: 'sandbox' # or live to production!,
        order: { paypal: :order } # optional if you want to test with your order attrs, please refer to paypal docs to proper payload.
      }
    )
  end
end

Development

After checking out the repo, run bin/setup to install dependencies. Then, run rake spec to run the tests. You can also run bin/console for an interactive prompt that will allow you to experiment.

To install this gem onto your local machine, run bundle exec rake install. To release a new version, update the version number in version.rb, and then run bundle exec rake release, which will create a git tag for the version, push git commits and tags, and push the .gem file to rubygems.org.
