I am new to ROS, so this might just be me not doing things right. But I don't know why this is happening and if it is related to the example or my own fault.

Have you downloaded the repository in your workspace to the folder your_ws/src?
If you have not done that: You could either use git (git clone https://github.com/fairlight1337/ros_service_examples.git) or download it as zip, unpack and copy it to the file location.

Before running the command, you also have to execute catkin_make in your_ws.
And keep in mind that there is a bug, see: #3 The answer from "KevKzTW" worked for me on ros noetic.
