Webpack HMR bug applies to [email protected] #2882

This error currently applies to [email protected] which is in [email protected]. webpack/webpack#5308. So I'm getting an uncaught exception for every reload.

Would it make sense to patch this release to reflect the webpack fix? I feel like this is quite a major bug.

This is a duplicate of #1880.

If this is not fixed in master yet (we recently updated Webpack) please send a PR and we'll include that in the next patch (and close that issue)!
